About IDI
Integrated Development Initiative (IDI) is a non-profit humanitarian and development organisation dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable, underserved, and crisis-affected populations through integrated, sustainable, and evidence-driven interventions. Established with the vision of bridging critical gaps across humanitarian response and long-term development, IDI operates at the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, delivering interventions that build resilience while addressing immediate and long-term community needs.
We recognise that poverty, poor health, malnutrition, limited access to quality education, inadequate water and sanitation services, protection concerns, climate change, and weak livelihoods are interconnected challenges requiring comprehensive and coordinated solutions. Consequently, IDI adopts a holistic, community-centred approach that promotes resilience, self-reliance, and sustainable development.
Through strategic partnerships with government institutions, development partners, civil society organisations, academia, and local communities, IDI designs and implements high-impact programmes that improve lives, strengthen local systems, and empower communities to achieve lasting development outcomes.
